When you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him

Fake bishop


August 12, 2008)--The Roman Catholic Diocese of Dallas is warning worshippers to beware of a bogus bishop who charges for religious services that priests perform for free.

Bishop Kevin Farrell says the Archbishop of Acapulco, Mexico has contacted him about a man named Martin Davila Gandara who’s evidently operating in the Dallas area.

Farrell says the man is not a bishop and is not associated with the Roman Catholic Church.

Some of the services, such as baptisms, allegedly were offered in such places as motels for fees ranging from $100 to $200
